It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Don Fleming Jr. on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at the age of 62. He leaves behind his wife Paula and stepchildren Katie and Jason. He will be missed by his parents Don and Marg Fleming, sister Cristie Smith and brother-in-law Bob Smith. Don will be missed by his nieces and nephews Amy McLean, Amanda Munro, Neil Pollen, Robyn and Adam Smith and great nieces and nephews Zachary Morrow, Kaden and Liam McLean, Nevaeh, Kai and Finn Smith. He drove a school bus for 24 years and loved the children he had on his bus routes. He loved to draw and paint. He was a cartoonist for the Alliston Herald for many years. A special thank you goes out to the staff at Royal Victoria Hospital where he stayed for almost 6 months. A funeral service will be held at the Drury Funeral Centre 519 Victoria St. E., Alliston on Saturday, November 17, 2018 with visitation from 12 noon until time of service at 1 p.m. If so desired donations to the Heart and Stroke Society or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
