Betty was a cherished member of the Green Briar Crafters. She was a saviour to me and many others when we found ourselves in a pickle with a knitting, crochet or other handwork project went awry. We have all missed her and the camaraderie we shared every Thursday afternoon at the Community Centre before COVID struck. RIP Betty.

dear marilyn and family: sending our sincere condolences to you on the passing of your mother, my aunt. she was a special influence in my life for 74 years. i loved her dearly. we all grew up in a very close, fun family celebrating holidays and special occasions together with food, laughter, jokes and dancing. after i moved to bc betty and i would keep in touch, melissa and i would visit many times as we visited toronto. betty would always have a special treat for me - her peanut butter squares served with tea. oh how i loved them! we talked and shared our love of needlecrafts for hours. we enjoyed going out for lunches or bringing mcDonalds back to her home. i have lovely photos of betty with my mom, gramma Brock and grampa Brock as they grew up.
i will cherish those photos. oh my how painful it is to have to write condolences. my adult children andrew, jonathan, jennifer and melissa all send their love to you as well. so sad that we cannot attend her funeral service because of covid. i hope we can keep in touch........love you
