As I write this I can't help but feel my heart breaking in a million tiny little fragments; and each of these fragments breaking again...

For over 30 years I have loved this man. He was more than my husband, he was my friend, my lover, my partner, my biggest challenge, my greatest accomplishment, my life, my world, my absolute everything! Even through our challenges, no matter how difficult things became he stayed the course, and focused on the most important thing in his life-his family. Making us work, being sure that our boys were happy, and that we were taken care of. He knew our life together was the best way to end his story and that the five of us worked best together. He made sacrifices, but he never saw the sacrifices - he saw his duty - we were his number one priority.

Anyone who knew Bill, knew him as a man of virtue, integrity, honour, respect, kindness, pride, and absolute goodness. Bill loved his job, his friends, his renovations, his Habs, his country music, Newfoundland, fishing and hunting. He was a simple and humble man. He was true to himself and he was happy.

Bill was, and always will be a man of character. If you worked with Bill you knew his word was golden and his handshake counted for something, for everything!

On June 1, Bill’s job on this earth was done. His final nail was driven, his final tire change completed, his final bead of caulking inserted, and his last ATV ride in the town he loved, with his fantastic friends, came to an end. Proudly, his final Gilliam’s project - Waypoint was delivered. He attended his last hockey, baseball, football, soccer, and whatever other activities the boys got themselves into. On June 1st Bill proudly laid his accordion to rest, and his music stopped, forever.

Bill’s love and legacy will continue with his family. On June 1st he left behind me, his partner in crime for 30 years - Malvina. His best buddies and his proudest accomplishments; his 3 sons, William Jr., James and Tyson.
Also broken hearted is his loving Mom, Brenda & Father, Gerald - he admired his parents beyond words. He leaves his beautiful sisters Stephanie (Jon and Olivia), Cathy and his Grandmother Margaret, his Mother in law Blanch(Kevin), his extended family Myrna, Corbin, Barry, Marilyn, and their families. He also has his lifelong friend Corey. And so many others.

Bill will be laid to rest on June 7th at St. David’s Church In Everett. A zoom session will be created for all those wishing to join Bill's funeral on Monday June 7 @ 11:00a.m.

Bill's family is asking that you make a donation to the Candian Tire Jumpstart Program so every kid has a chance to Bar Down!

Our deepest sympathies go out to all Bill’s family. We were so saddened and shocked to hear of Bill’s passing. I had the pleasure of working with Bill for many years. He truly was a sincere hardworking guy. Always considerate of others a joy to be around. Ron also had the pleasure to work with Bill on several projects At Honda. Malvina and family,
I want to send my sincere condolences to you. I am so sorry for your loss, Bill was way to young to leave this earth but he will always be with you, watching and guiding you along this journey.

My thoughts are with you.

Dear Mel, Tyson, James & Will,

We are still in disbelief that this has happened and we are so sad that Bill will be gone from our everyday lives. It seems so unfair! We are so sorry you are going through this and we will try to be here for you whenever you need us.
He was a true friend who when asked was always there to help. So many memories of Bill are happy ones. Like the summertime parties in the backyard with a fire going, lots of cheer and great food. Cheering on his boys and other kids at the hockey rinks and New Years dinners at Swiss Chalet etc. And we are fortunate to have a wonderful memory of boating together last summer.
A long time ago, one Lobster dinner stands out where the host couldn't cook nor eat the poor creatures... haha, and help from the invited guests was needed!
These are just some of the happy memories we were lucky enough to share with a good man who was a pleasure to know.
He always talked about his family. No one was closer to him or more loved than his family. Good friends and their children were a close second.
Thank you for being a friend to us Bill and also for being a God parent to Ryan, Rebecca and David. We will miss you!
